• Tests with tuning fork:
  • Weber
  • Rinne
• Holds otoscope and patient's ear correctly
• Identifies normal anatomy
• Appropriate use of questions, open, closed and clarifying
• Acknowledge patient concerns
• Encourage patient's questions and deal with them appropriately
• Appropriate summary and analysis of findings
